It took me two months to decide whether or not I should run my Christian Dior fashion week. Writing about Dior was an obvious choice because the world of fashion wouldn’t be what it is without him. On the hand, he is such a legend that everyone seems to know the story already. All I hope for is keeping you interested for the next 7 days. Who knows, perhaps you will even discover something new. If not, treat it as a refresher course and enjoy beautiful images.
Lets begin with some of my favourite campaigns, including Fall 1989 and Spring 1991 as these photos are not just beautiful but also a perfect example of capture the luxury and femininity of Christian Dior’s designs, the two elements that made monsieur Dior famous in the first place.

ReplyDeletePS. I'm so excited to see Raf Simons first collection in July! I'll be glued to the screen to see the first photos ;-)
Well I think that it is a great idea! One of the fashion houses with the most interesting history in my opinion (and add Raf S. now! :)
ReplyDeleteohh I love these Dior campaigns! these photos are such classics
ReplyDeleteI agree with Pop Champagen above-the campaigns are so easily recognizable for their looks. Classic Dior will never go 'out of fashion'.
